A limited-run pairing designed for Mother’s Day and the Road to May.

Seasonal holidays often present a challenge for a workshop like Twenty-one Astor. In the world of mass retail, these dates are usually met with high-volume production and deep discounts. But when you work at a single bench, your capacity is defined by the hours in the day and the quality of the hide in front of you. My approach this year was to lean into that limitation by creating something highly specific and intentional for Mother’s Day.
The Meghan Wristlet was designed for anyone who values a refined, minimalist carry. For this limited release, I’ve paired it with our Minimalist Horizontal Card Sleeve to create a complete organization solution. We selected a striking palette of Red and Olive from the Badalassi Carlo tannery in Italy. This leather is world-renowned for its color depth and the way it ages, ensuring that these pieces aren't just gifts for a single day, but heritage items built for the long haul.
Every wristlet and card sleeve in this batch has been hand-burnished and finished with the same attention to detail as our core collection. By keeping the batch small, I can ensure that each set meets the standard I’ve spent the last few years refining. It is about offering something special that stays true to the brand’s identity, rather than chasing a seasonal trend.
These bundles are a centerpiece of my "Road to May" preparation. They provide a sophisticated gifting option for Mother’s Day, and any sets that remain will be available at the Glen Ridge Arts & Eco Fair on May 16th. I look forward to seeing these pieces out in the world, recording their own stories and developing a unique patina over time.
