Expanding the Twenty-one Astor lineup with our first collection for the kitchen.

Growth for a small-batch brand often means moving from the pocket to the home. I am excited to announce that Twenty-one Astor is expanding into a new category this quarter with a collection of leather goods designed for the kitchen. The first release in this series is the Leather Trivet. It is a project that allowed me to apply our standard of craftsmanship to a larger, more tactile surface designed for daily utility in the home.
We often think of leather as a personal accessory, but its heat-resistant properties and natural durability make it an ideal material for the kitchen. Each trivet is cut from heavy-weight leather and finished with a signature pull-tab and solid brass hardware. We are launching this initial run in two colors: Briar, a deep and moody brown, and Cognac, which features a rich and vibrant grain.
While the design is minimal, the intent is longevity. These pieces are built to withstand the heat and activity of a busy kitchen, recording a unique patina over years of handling. Unlike mass-produced household items, these trivets are designed to look better a decade from now than they do today.
Expanding into home goods is a natural evolution of the "Road to May" as I prepare for the Glen Ridge Arts & Eco Fair. It represents a commitment to creating intentional, long-lasting alternatives for every part of your daily life. I look forward to seeing these pieces become a permanent part of your home.
